About Us

We’re Babz & Dinky, an indie film and TV studio founded by Cuban-Alaskan sisters Chloe “Dinky” and Sydney “Babz.”

Chloe brings 14 years in visual effects on Oscar, Emmy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe–winning projects. Her love of film started at age four, when she mistook her hometown’s lone projector booth for a movie studio — a mix-up that sparked a lifelong obsession with storytelling, from Shakespeare to screenwriting.

Sydney, her younger sister and lifelong collaborator, was drafted early on as an actor, script reader, and idea-bouncer (usually paid in donuts). After a decade working in child care, she now wrangles operations with the same patience and sharp eye she once used on toddlers — a skillset surprisingly transferable to filmmakers.

Together, we create bold, human stories with equal parts grit, humor, and sisterly chaos.
